Homes NSW Women’s Housing Project

Through our partnership with Homes NSW we are providing 106 studio units in 12 New Generation Boarding Houses around Sydney. All offer safe and secure housing near services and transport. These homes are a game changer for older women facing homelessness.

Maintenance works are currently being carried out at the Women’s Housing Company in Surry Hills and hence the office will not be as comfortable as usual for visitors. Clients are encouraged to seek assistance from Women’s Housing Company via phone or email for the period of 3 June until close of business Tuesday 25 June.

Handover of 11 new homes

A wonderful handover this week of 11 new homes in North Parramatta for the Women’s Housing Company from the NSW Land and Housing Corporation, built by BlueSox Developments. Thank you to everyone involved, making it possible to provide new homes for women and children on the waiting list. These are beautiful examples of modern social housing.

External Scholarship Communication

The Women’s Housing Company is pleased to launch the Education Scholarship Program, designed to help tenants and their children to achieve their goals through education and training. This initiative, backed by a generous donation from WHC Patron, the Honourable Ros Kelly AO, will provide successful applicants with up to $2,000 in financial support to pursue training and study.
