Senior Leadership Planning Day

Our leadership team recently came together for a focused and energising planning day, united by a shared mission: preventing and addressing homelessness and ensuring access to safe, affordable housing for women.

In the midst of a national housing crisis and rapidly rising rents, more women are being forced into homelessness. Among the most affected are women and children escaping domestic and family violence, as well as single women over the age of 55 – some of the fastest-growing cohorts seeking homelessness support and housing assistance.

The planning day provided a vital opportunity to reflect on our impact and refine our strategic direction. Discussions centred on innovative approaches to empower women and expand access to critical housing and support services. The team also explored ways to enhance organisational systems and efficiency, ensuring that our work remains responsive and impactful.

Importantly, we reaffirmed our commitment to advocacy – championing the voices of women with lived experience and influencing the systems and policies that shape housing outcomes across the country.

As we look to the future, we remain driven by our vision: a community where every woman has a safe place to call home.
