Ros became the Patron in 2023

The Hon. Ros Kelly AO has worked across the political, private and not for profit sectors.

Ros was a member of the Australian Government for 16 years serving as a Minister in a number of portfolios. She was the first woman ALP cabinet minister in the House of Representatives.

After leaving politics, Ros worked at the interface between mining and the environment.

Ros was Chair of the National Breast Cancer Foundation from 2005 to 2010 a Director of Thiess from 1998 to 2012, a Commissioner of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission for 8 years, 2012 - 2020, and Chair of the Commonwealth War Graves Foundation.

Ros currently serves as a senior advisor to the Australian Studies Institute, The Australian National University and as Patron of the Women’s Housing Company.

Ros was made an Officer (AO) of the Order of Australia in 2004 for services to the environment, mining, women's health and the Australian Parliament.
