Board of Directors Strategic Planning Day

This past weekend, the Women’s Housing Company Board and Executive Team came together for a strategic planning session focused on guiding the future direction of our organisation.

A central theme of the discussion was the urgent and growing need for safe, secure, and affordable housing for women. In the face of an escalating housing crisis, women continue to be disproportionately impacted, facing heightened risks of homelessness, housing instability, and economic hardship.

These stark realities only deepen our commitment to being part of the solution.

During the session, we explored ways to strengthen our impact through sustainable operations, quality housing services, and a strong, values-driven organisational culture. Our shared goal remains clear: to empower women through housing solutions that are not just safe and affordable, but also supportive of long-term wellbeing and independence.

We are proud to be working together – Board, leadership, and staff – towards a future where every woman has a safe place to call home.
