A wonderful handover this week of 11 new homes in North Parramatta for the Women’s Housing Company from the NSW Land and Housing Corporation, built by BlueSox Developments. Thank you to everyone involved, making it possible to provide new homes for women and children on the waiting list. These are beautiful examples of modern social housing.

The Women’s Housing Company is pleased to launch the Education Scholarship Program, designed to help tenants and their children to achieve their goals through education and training. This initiative, backed by a generous donation from WHC Patron, the Honourable Ros Kelly AO, will provide successful applicants with up to $2,000 in financial support to pursue training and study.

The WHC has re-tendered for our responsive maintenance services through a robust procurement process and has a new panel of contractors in place.

As summer brings joyous festivities and gatherings, financial concerns can cast a shadow over the holiday season.
