WHC Surveillance Equipment Policy and Application form

The Women’s Housing Company is pleased to announce the launch of a new online application form for tenants seeking permission to install surveillance equipment at their property.

This new digital form is designed to make the application process simpler, faster, and more accessible for women and families who may benefit from additional safety measures in their homes. Surveillance equipment installation requests will continue to be assessed on a case-by-case basis, ensuring that each application is handled with care, confidentiality, and a strong focus on tenant wellbeing. Please note that this application is for permission for installation and installation remains a tenant cost.

For women linked with Domestic Violence support services, support providers can assist you in developing safety plans, improving your home security, completing the application form and, in some instances, managing the payment.

The application form can be found here, and the relevant policy can be found here.
