Working Together to Support Women’s Housing

Women’s Housing Company was pleased to receive a generous donation from the Older Women’s Network NSW (OWN), supporting our shared commitment to ending homelessness among older women.

Our CEO, Nada Nasser, met with OWN CEO Yumi Lee and Chair Beverly Baker to accept the contribution, which was raised through OWN training fees. This thoughtful donation will directly support housing outcomes for older women, helping them live with dignity, independence, and stability in the communities they know and love.

The meeting was also a valuable opportunity to discuss the barriers many older women face in accessing and maintaining affordable housing. Together, WHC and OWN explored ways we can collaborate further to create meaningful, long-term solutions.

We are proud to stand alongside organisations like OWN who are equally dedicated to advocating for and supporting older women across NSW.
