Maria Kenny

Executive Manager, Finance & Risk

Maria is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in finance, governance, and risk management across local government and not-for-profit sectors.  She has led major financial strategies, procurement frameworks, and governance reforms, delivering sustainable outcomes and improved accountability.  Before joining the Women’s Housing Company, Maria held senior leadership roles in Corporate Services at Blacktown Council and Hunter’s Hill Council and was interim CEO at Metro Community Housing. Her career spans strategic planning, project delivery, and probity advisory for large-scale infrastructure programs.  Maria holds a Master of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce, is a qualified accountant (ACCA), and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
