Alice Spizzo

Alice brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her role as Chair, including managing risk, due diligence, governance and issues management.

In 2021 Alice established Alice Spizzo Advisory a boutique law firm specialising in Planning & Environmental Law. Alice provides advice to a variety of business and government clients on planning and environmental approvals and licences, planning proposals and agreements, dispute resolution, heritage, building, biodiversity, affordable housing, aged care, issues management, dispute resolution, governance and risk.

Alice has diverse experience in government and the housing and development industry as a lawyer, public policy adviser, executive and senior ministerial advisory including Chief of Staff to a NSW Minister for Health and Senior Policy Adviser to a NSW Minister for Urban Affairs, Planning and Housing.

Alice also represented the NSW Government on the Building Code of Australia Board and the Department of Planning on the Honeysuckle Development Corporation Board.

Alice has a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Arts, a Graduate Diploma in Urban Estate Management and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Alice is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
