Vivienne Skinner

Vivienne commenced her career as a TV and radio journalist, and then transitioned into various editorial, communication and political roles.

Vivienne is currently an Industry Professional Fellow with the School of Built Environment, Faculty of Design, Architecture and Building at the University of Technology, Sydney and the Principal of Metropolis Consulting.

Previously, Vivienne was a journalist and former Senior Adviser to the Federal Government covering national urban policy, transport and infrastructure. Vivienne was a speech and opinion piece writer to the Transport and Infrastructure Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese. She was an Adviser to two NSW Premiers for more than 10 years.

Vivienne has a Bachelor of Arts from the Australian National University, Master of Urban Policy, and Strategy from the University of NSW, and a CELTA Certificate (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from the University of Cambridge.
