Debbie joined the Women’s Housing Company in April 2017 and is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the organisation to develop, deliver, and continuously improve services. She has overseen significant growth across the Company’s housing and homelessness programs, and is a strong advocate in the areas of homelessness, housing affordability and domestic and family violence. She is a Director of the Community Housing Industry Association (CHIA) NSW Board and the Board of PowerHousing Australia.

With over two decades of public policy and program experience from government and non-government organisations, she held senior roles in the former NSW Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) and Mission Australia. Whilst at DCJ, she held roles responsible for Housing Pathways, Future Directions for Social Housing, and Community Regeneration.

Debbie is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds an Executive Master of Public Administration, a Master of Arts (Social Policy) and a Bachelor of Arts (English). She is also a Churchill Fellow, having completed a fellowship on international approaches to managing demand for social housing in the UK, USA, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Erna joined the Women’s Housing Company in October 2010 and is the Chief Financial and Corporate Services Officer and was appointed to the role of Company Secretary in August 2011. She is responsible for financial management, reporting, company secretarial and other control functions.

Erna has over 20 years experience across a range of industries including community housing, financial services, aged care, construction materials and chartered accounting. She has particular expertise in project management and IT systems implementation and strong capabilities in the areas of risk management, financial modelling and strategic planning. Having held various senior management positions in an organisation that evolved from a medium sized private company into a listed organisation, she is cognisant of the challenges involved in corporate growth and change management.

Erna holds a Bachelor of Commerce, is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Christina joined the WHC in November 2021 as Head, Community Housing Operations, responsible for the development and delivery of strategic objectives and service delivery plans relating to all customer service, housing and property management activities.

Christina has over 15 years’ of experience working in social and affordable housing operations in Australia and the UK, including senior roles at City West Housing and Bridge Housing. Most recently, Christina oversaw the transition of over 1,000 public housing tenancies on the Northern Beaches over to Bridge Housing management and established the Bridge Housing Northern Beaches Office, in partnership with the WHC.

Christina holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Human Psychology and a Master of Business Administration and Social Impact from UNSW AGSM.

Debra joined the Women’s Housing Company in October 2014 to establish the Specialist Homelessness Support Service in South West Sydney. Debra is responsible for the provision of case management services to women accessing crisis and supported transitional accommodation, and the day-to-day management of the residential crisis service. She is instrumental in developing collaborative working relationships with government and non-government agencies to deliver outcomes for homeless clients.

Debra has extensive experience in all aspects of operational management, service delivery and governance in women’s specialist homelessness services. For over a decade, Debra has managed the provision of supported housing and outreach services for vulnerable women and children in the community, particularly those with a history of homelessness, domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental illness.

Debra holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons), Master of Policy Studies and a Diploma of Management.
