WHC Tenants Day 2019 In Category - News Date - 29/07/2019 |
On Thursday 27 June, almost 60 tenants took part in WHC Tenants Day.
The informative day started with Housing Services Manager, Kylie Lindsay, sharing the latest Women's Housing Company news. Joy Webster from Good Shepherd gave a presentation on the government-backed No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS) and Kerry Wright from Legal Aid presented useful tips on how to avoid scams. We also heard from Camille Morgan from Max Solutions. Camille spoke about the exciting Opportunity Pathways employment scheme, set up by the NSW Government to help eligible people start work and stay employed.
The presentations were followed by a delicious lunch, news of forthcoming events and activities, and some lucky door prizes.
A warm thank you to our guest speakers and everyone who helped make the day very special.
